This page explains what health.firstreviewers.com is, what it is not, and the rules we follow when we write about health products. It applies to every article, review, comparison, and guide on this site, and it exists because health content deserves a higher standard of honesty than most of the internet gives it.
We are not medical professionals
First Reviewers Health is an independent product review site operated by Rishabh Sharma, a reviewer. Nobody on this site is a medical doctor, registered dietitian, licensed therapist, or any other kind of licensed health professional, and nothing on this site should be read as if we were. Our expertise is in buying products at full retail, using them for weeks, and reporting honestly about that experience.
What our content is
- Product reviews. What a supplement, gadget, mattress, app, or meal service was like to buy and live with, including the flaws
- General information. Context from published research about what ingredients and interventions are broadly understood to do, written in plain language
- Buying guidance. How to compare labels, certifications, prices, and trial terms so your money goes further
What our content is not
- Not medical advice. Nothing here diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any condition, and no article is a recommendation for your specific body
- Not a prescription. A review that praises a supplement's testing and dosing is not permission to take it. Interactions, allergies, pregnancy, and chronic conditions all change the answer, and only your clinician can see that whole picture
- Not a crisis service. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line. An app review is not the help you need right now
The questions only your doctor can answer
Before starting, stopping, or changing anything you read about here, talk to a qualified clinician - especially if any of these apply to you:
- You take prescription medication, because supplement and medication interactions are real and sometimes serious
- You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning either
- You have a chronic condition, a heart condition, or are scheduled for surgery
- You are considering a product for a child
- A symptom is new, worsening, or frightening - a review site cannot examine you, and delay is the risk
How we handle health claims in our reviews
The wellness industry runs on overclaiming, so we hold our own writing to rules the marketing departments do not:
- We separate what an ingredient has been shown to do in research from what the label implies it will do for you
- We describe our own experience as our own experience: "my sleep score improved" is data from one person, not proof of cause and effect
- We treat third-party certifications (USP, NSF, Informed Choice) as facts worth paying for, and unverified label claims as claims
- We do not publish dosage recommendations beyond what is on the product label and its own instructions
- Where the honest answer is "the evidence is mixed," we write exactly that
Results vary. Here is why that matters.
Two people can take the same supplement, sleep on the same mattress, and follow the same app, and get different outcomes. Sleep, stress, genetics, consistency, and plain chance all play a part. Our reviews tell you what happened during our testing and what the research broadly supports - they cannot promise what will happen for you, and anyone who promises that is selling something.
Advertising and affiliate relationships
We earn affiliate commissions on some links and carry advertising, as described in our affiliate disclosure. That funding never buys a verdict, a ranking, or a softer adjective. It also never changes this disclaimer: the products we praise and the products we pan carry the same medical caveat.
The honest bottom line
Our job is to make sure you never waste money on a bad product, and never confuse a review site for a doctor. If you take one thing from this page: your clinician knows your history, your medications, and your risks. We know the products. Use both, and you are genuinely better informed - which is, proudly, the whole point of this site.
